Couples 101

Rev. Chris is proud to announce a new optional class for pre-newlyweds: Couples 101. This optional couples course consists of three one hour private in-home sessions and teaches couples how to create the basic foundation on which to build their marriage and provides them with invaluable tools they can use to help their marriage last. Covering topics such as You Said/I Heard, Yes Dear, The Silent Treatment and Pillow Talk, this highly acclaimed course gives couples the tools they'll need to successfully navigate the ups and downs of life and marriage with eachother. Sermon
Many ministers provide a sermon as part of the ceremony. It is simply a message that speaks to the importance the marraige, the responsibilities the bride and groom have, as well as advice on how to make the marriage last.

The sermon also often speaks to the guests (more specifically the married ones), serving as a reminder of the commitment they made to eachother.
