Packages & Rates
When it comes to comparing rates, it's important to understand that many officiants charge low "basic" rates only to tack on extra charges for things like pre-ceremony consultations, rehearsals, and copies of the ceremony. When you choose to have Rev. Chris officiate, the rates are much simpler, easy to understand...and all inclusive. The only variable rate is for travel.

Standard Package: $359.95
This package is for just about every couple wanting the most common services including:

  • The Wedding Ceremony Planner - a handy guide that you can use to plan out all of the particulars of your ceremony
  • As many pre-ceremony consultations as you'd like by phone, e-mail, or in person (travel charges may apply for meetings farther than 30 miles from Madison)
  • Custom created ceremony based on your wishes. You're free to simply have Rev. Chris hand pick a ceremony for the two of you OR the ceremony can be selected from our library of ceremonies and personalized to meet your wishes OR completely written from scratch. In any case, Rev. Chris will help you create the ceremony of your dreams
  • A full-scale rehearsal before the ceremony so that everyone involved will know exactly what to expect during the ceremony including how to enter, where to go, what to do, what to say, etc.
  • Commemorative printed copy of the ceremony for you to keep signed by Rev. Chris
  • Post-ceremony signing of the official marriage certificate
  • Depending on the individual state and county requirements, Rev. Chris will mail the completed certificate to the county registrar
  • Post-ceremony "What Do We Do Next?" checklist for those brides changing their names
  • You will NOT be charged for travel time, rehearsal time, ceremony preparation time, stand-by time, photo time, ceremonial certificate, or any of the other 'optional items and services' as charged by other officiants. With the ONLY exceptions of per-mile charges for ceremonies farther than 30 miles from Madioson and/or extraordinary travel charges for destination weddings, there are no additional, surprise, or hidden fees.

Contact us for more information or to schedule a free, no-obligation consultation.

Ceremony Only: $259.95
This package is for those couples only seeking an officiant to perform a standard ceremony with no pre-ceremony consultations. Those using this package may be eloping or choosing to have an 'emergency' marriage such as a ceremony during pre-term labor, a ceremony in the hospital after a life-threatening emergency, or more frequently - before military deployment or during military leave. There is no travel charge for ceremonies within 30 miles of Madison, WI. Ceremonies farther than 30 miles may incur travel charges. Contact us for information regarding your specific needs.

Custom Package: Varies
Some couples need ceremonies that just don't fit the "norm" or our packages. Contact us to give us the details and we'll create a personalized quote just for you.

CoupleBuilding 101: $295
In this acclaimed short series of three (3) one hour couples courses, you’ll learn what it takes to create a successful marriage in a completely new and unique way.  Virtually every couples course covers advanced communication; learning ways to share thoughts, ideas, wants, needs, approval, disapproval, feelings, and emotions in a way that the other person understands.  Although this is a vitally important part of a successful relationship, it’s like being expected to build a skyscraper on the day you pick up your very first  hammer.

Using the familiar metaphor of building construction, CoupleBuilding 101 starts with the basics: sharing and understanding the most basic elements of you and your partner’s thoughts, emotions, and beliefs.  Once that understanding is created (once solid ground has been found), CoupleBuilding 101 gives you the tools you’ll need to start building a successful relationship on that solid ground as well as the tools you’ll need to maintain a successful relationship once you’ve built it. It even contains contingency plans (and assistance) for emergency situations. Contact Rev. Chris for more information.
