When it comes to comparing rates, it's important to understand that many officiants charge low "basic" rates only to tack on extra charges for things like pre-ceremony consultations, rehearsals, and copies of the ceremony. When you choose to have The Wedding Guy officiate, the rates are much simpler, easy to understand...and all inclusive. The only variable rate is travel.
Standard Package: $389.95
This package is for just about every couple wanting the most common services including:
- Unlimited pre-ceremony consultations by phone, e-mail, or in person (travel charges may apply)
- The actual content of your ceremony is up to you! Use one of the standard ceremonies personalized to meet your wishes OR have a completely custom ceremony written based on your direction.
- A full-scale rehearsal the day before the ceremony so that everyone involved will know exactly what to expect including how to enter, where to go, what to do, what to say, and when to do it.
- Commemorative printed copy of the ceremony for you to keep
- Completion and submission of your Marriage License to the appropriate county registrar or clerk
- Post-ceremony "What Do We Do Next?" checklist for those brides changing their names
- 60 miles are included in the package. Additional mileage/travel charges may apply. Travel charges for Destination Weddings vary.
- A Holiday surcharge may apply for weddings held on Federal and Christian holidays.

Ceremony Only: $289.95
This package is for those couples only seeking an officiant to perform a standard ceremony with no pre-ceremony consultations. Those using this package may be eloping or choosing to have an 'emergency' marriage such as a ceremony during pre-term labor, a ceremony in the hospital during a life-threatening emergency, or more frequently - before military deployment or during military leave. 60 miles are included in the package. Additional mileage/travel charges may apply. Contact us for information regarding your specific needs.
